Well, I don't have much to tell today. Other than the fact that I am concerned about Ophelia and the fact that she is hitting VA Beach, where my brother lives and I am hoping that everything there is ok. I know this is hurricaine season, but these past two years have really been EVIL. It's scary, and while I know there is little or no chance that I will be dangerously affected by a hurricaine anytime soon, here in Upstate NY, it's scary to think what other detrimental, natural disasters are brewing as we speak. The earth is changing so much that I think it's had enough, and who's really to know what else is about to strike. Oh well, I guess we will eventually find out.

I wanted to post about this the other day, but I have been too busy doing nothing, while arguing with myself about what I should do with my new freedom, with the kids being at school. Unfortunately, this happens every September. Anyway, I don't know if any of you hear about Susan Torres, the brain-dead woman, who gave birth to a baby girl, while in a vegetative state? She was pregnant and collapsed, due to a brain tumor. Anyway, the baby, who was born 5 weeks ago, underwent surgery to repair her intestines. Shortly after the surgery, the baby passed away. The poor little thing, it was such a heartbreaking story, and I just feel so awful for the husband and father. They also have another child, I think he is like 3 or so.
